Application for Grade Promotion

Dear college principle,

I am writing to you because I would like to request a grade promotion. I feel that the grade I got for my English exam was not fair. I was told that I failed because I copied from the book however in the exam room we are not allowed to take anything, and I couldn’t have copied from the book because I didn’t have it with me. You see I have a photographic memory it means that any book, or words that I read I will remember exactly.

If you would like I can provide you with the medical letter from my family doctor to help prove this. I was unfairly graded because you didn’t understand how I could’ve memorized the whole text book. I hope that you will give me the right grade that I deserve, and I look forward to hearing back from you.
